someone has installed the Model "D" SSQV? a evo 8 or 9? will have disappeared flapping? any other suggestions to improve the flapping at low rpm? Thank you!

 

a tune will help and convert to speed density. the HKS SSQV is a POS, I had one and it leaked it was terrible. I ditched it for the OEM IX BOV but recently switched to a TIAL Q.

 

thank you, I really do not say anything at high rpm goes perfect but almost not open at low rpm, because i the annoying flapping at low creates a small delay in the turbo, i will try to disassemble soften the spring, thanks!

 

problem solved with SSQV, and very little flutter no leaks and beautiful sound recirculating blowing 1.6 bar! I only had to remove a bit of force on the spring, works great!
