Budget Turbo Build

I am in the market for a bigger turbo..however, like many I do not want to spend much money. My HP goals are currently between 500 and 600whp.

My current mod list:
Kelford 272s
GSC Springs
Ferrea Valves
Manley I-Beams
Buschur spec 10:1 Pistons
Walbro 255
1050cc Injectors
Exedy HD Twin Disc

I orignally was thinking of making a decent amount of power via an FP Green. After some thought, I realized I should take advantage of the longblock and maybe jump into 35R territory. If I do so, I'll have to get a double pumper, tripple disc kit, and new injectors.. As I see it those three are unavoidable.

Now for the turbo kit.. An FP Black would set me back too much money. A GT35R could be had for the right price. Who makes a decent budget manifold and/or piping kit? I just wanted to run this by you guys and see if anyone had any ideas to make more power without breaking the bank.

Thanks

you dont need a double pumper and a twin disk will work fine for that power range. map makes a good t3 hot parts kit for 1800

a double pumper is ALWAYS a good idea when going bigger. i have a 35r with a twin disc and it holds with no problems at all. maybe bigger injectors would be a good idea too. i went 1450 on my 35r build and its great!

I think I'm going to send my FP non-HTA green to MAP and have it transformed into a EF4 o:

To me that's the most reasonable investment. Sure a T3 hotparts kit would allow me to have just about any combination I want with better reliability.. but $1800 isn't even counting the turbo. I'd rather spend $1400 and have a FP Black on my hands

get an fp black, for a 35r you're going to need a whole hot parts kit and honestly 35r's are a turbo of the past...

Yea 35rs are now an option because I could never afford them before. Thanks to the new GTX series, the 35R is now in my price range. I don't particularly like that turbos power band however I do use it as a reference point. FP can't convert a green to a black for a reasonable price so I'm seeing if MAP will convert it to a EF4. That would be my solution. The only thing I'm kind of worried about now is the fact my intake manifold is stock. Supposedly the design of the manifold although efficient causes one of the cylinders to run lean and lose compression over time. Now I'm kind of in a jam because I'd like to get the car on the road but I'd also like to port both manifolds for a decent price. Or find better substitutes

What do you think a EF4 turbo will put out on this setup? 93 and/or E85?
