Want to get close to 400hp out of my evo 8...!!

I know its been asked a million times but I'll b a million and one so don't give me to much **** lol. I already have a tune from cbrd my evo 8 made 310hp 290tq on there dyno. It has a LICP, lightweight crank pulley, walboro fuel pump, EBC, TBE, and cobb intake. I don't have enough funds right now to upgrade the turbo yet but I will b upgrading it next year. But I'd like to get close to 400hp without it. I'm in the process of getting bigger injectors, bigger intercooler and cams and possibly UICP. Would that put me close to what I want? Thanks for the help...

FP is selling hta71 for 600 bucks and you already have the hotside

or you could just use the 600 dollar HTA71 which is cheap AND proven. CBRD BBK Full isn't a bad turbo, but FP rules the stock frame evo turbo category. Just look at the results from the shootout year and year again...

to each their own-

but consider also- many of our clients arent the drag race type- and- want proven reliability year in and out -

its been proven that we and FP have viable solutions-

Cams and some porting will help you make some power and will only help when you move to a bigger turbo. Larger intercooler will help you add some timing and up that power a bit, too. Shorter route UICP may help spool a bit, but not peak numbers.

cams, bigger stock frame turbo (or a evo 9 turbo on e85 if your lucky and have a good tuner) injectors and a ported exhaust manifold and you should be there

On pump gas it'll be extremely difficult. I have a fp green s1 cams jdl exhaust manifold and full bolt ons and made 386awhp on a mustang dyno

The cbrd turbo is definitely something I may be purchasing in the near furture if it's in my price range and if its better all around then the hta71 frame turbo. But for now im buying ams intercooler, UICP, and 1000cc injectors and cams this month. So chad I'll be in contact for a retune soon!

Save some $$$ and buy ETS parts for your evo.

But really... there are 100's of threads about how to get your evo to 400whp. Search and you will get a ton of info instead of people chiming in on your thread. Lots of good material out there.

Buy too I forgot to add that....Muse or ETS

I have used 3 of tiagos muse core and they are very good.

Contact him and he will hook you up.

I like to use quality parts that are on a budget.

I believe 05 evo you have a 10.5 hotside? If so all you need is a tune, bigger injectors and E85. like others said before, cams, charge pipes, and all that other stuff wont get you poop with a stock turbo. bigger intercooler not a bad idea if you got the money, but not nesassary
