I believe the the evo ix is equipped with the: TD05HRA-16G6C-10.5T

Ive read that it is a Twin Scroll turbo as well. (correct me if i am wrong).

Is it also a ball bearing type?

I had actually found that page prior to posting this thread.

It does not state whether it is ball-bearing?

 

mitsubishi doesnt make bb turbos that I am aware of. certainly not for 4g63 platform. they do make TIAL turbine wheel and magnesium compressor wheel for evo 8 turbo. makes it spool lightening fast. maybe moreso that bb 16g with standard weight wheels
