Check your HKS Hi-Power exhaust

Today when I had my dp and hi-flow cat installed I noticed some marks on the resonator of my exhaust. The drive shaft is rubbing against the exhaust. I don't know how concerned I should be, but it still pisses me off. The metal is wearing away for sure, but it's not that bad now. I got this exhaust within a few days of the release date. Check yours and give me some feed back.

hey lilevil evo. I dont have my DP installed yet. I have had the cat back on. As of four days ago my exhaust is hitting something. Sounds like right around the rear tire area. No clue what it is. sounds like a metal vibrating noise like something hitting some sort of heat sheild. wondering what yours sounds like?

To tell you the truth I never heard any sounds coming from the exhaust area. Now that the dp is on I hear some noise, but I think that is only because it's 3" and is a close fit. If anything I would have heard a grinding noise more so than a metal on metal sound.

Had my HKS downpipe and exhaust for about 3-4 months now with no problems. Fit like a glove. Had it on a lift today and checked this out, still good to go...
