building a stroker motor...asking about power levels....mpg should be the least of your concern. just my opinion... mine probable will barely get 10-12 mpg downhill

Not a good idea if your gonna take a new built motor on a long highway trip.

I get 20mpg commuting on 91 in big urban area, while on E85 I get 16mpg under same conditions.

By advancing timing in cruise/low loads you can achieve maybe 22mpg on 91.

New motor has to be broken in with variable load/speed, not long highway cruise.

Yes, just as alpinaturbo says, you need variable speed to break it in.
Your looking for problems if you take a long highway trip.

GL!

2.4L R2's 2150 cc E85 & 90% city driving ~14mpg, ~180miles for a 12.5gal fill up.

Now i recently went to 91 oct, oem injectors & stock turbo; waiting on a new turbo & sending my injectors in for inspection, same driving, im got 23xmiles to the 1st tank.

Depends on tune man.

btw, i got ~40k miles out of my 2.3L, before going LR 2.4L
