I am in the process of being tuned I just wanted to make sure that everything works as its suppose to. I had issues where I didn't expect them to be, and I didn't have issues where I expected. Oh well its a learning experience.

Still working it. But I do have a question. What can cause the car to NOT follow the fuel map below say 20 psi? its running way lean, and it won't follow the fueling from the map. Just trying to think outside the box.

96531706 v7 as far as I know. Still not building boost with my new map. I did a compression check just to make sure right after driving it so it was at operating temp. It is low but I have gsc s3, so I think that is why its low but they all match each other 100%. So my question is what is my next step. Is it possible that the turbo is just bad? I mean it was bought brand new, actually everything was bought brand new. When I timed the motor I just eyed it you know 2.4LR, so is it possible that that is affecting it? I don't think so as I have seen a lot of builds here do the same thing and they have no issues for boost.
Opinions?

the first time I did it, they were all at 150 psi, then 3 weeks later I did it again and now I get 130 in #1 and 150 in the other 3 I'm wondering if this is massive blowby because of the rings not seating correctly. If I add oil, #1 goes up to 145 and the other 3 go to 160. I should be atleast 170psi from what I have gathered on built engines.

So lets say its the rings and I have to replace them. Should I replace all the bearings as well just because? Also should I refresh the valves? or have it pressure checked at least?

I don't think so, compression isn't that bad.

check your downpipe flex section though.

I don't have a flex pipe. motor is hard mounted, doesn't move at all. I think I'm going to remove the high flow cat I have

Believe it or not, yes I did! The HKS mushroom filter was collapsing when the turbo was spooling up, thus limiting the amount of air i could physically get into the intake. I just run no filter anymore do to space issues on the FF turbo set up.

I run no filter on my turbo and just replaced my exhaust manifold. Still not going over 20-21 psi.
