Can Oil check valves be used for vacuum?
So I was looking to install a catch can setup on my car on both sides of the valve cover. On the pcv side I wanted to retain the check valve function to prevent pressurizing the catch can and I would prefer to use an -an setup because I think they are cleaner aesthetics wise. But the only check valves I can find with -an fittings are for oil like this product

what I was wondering was if one of these check valves that are for oil/fuel can be used in a vacuum system. Thanks for the input.

My main concern with that check valve is the crack pressure. It'll take 2psi for it to crack open. I went with a Boomba Racing check valve and have been very happy with it. Not an fitting but maybe you can use some sort of adapter to make it look proper?

Yeah I was little worried about that too, and if nothing else I was looking at the boomba cv's and I would just cut the line and slide it in, that way both ends of the line are still -an fittings. That or just use hose barbs on the rear section and -an on the drivers side that has no check valves.
