I figured my AFC settings were off, but It probably is the Forge....
Hey, your using the set-up I wanted HKS 272/272 and the AMS IC.... you have no stalling issues or anything right.... and you said the idle is a bit rough but not bad at all?

thanks smackaddy I guess a bit more fuel down low would ensure the idle a bit more... stalling sucks...I was one of the 1st on the boards with a VTA blow-off (HKS) and had stalling issues.... ever since then Ive been a D/V guy !
I should get an E-Manage, but may just opt for the UTEC

i just installed my 272's yesterday, and the car runs noticably richer. does this sound correct? i thought it would be a bit leaner. btw, the idle with these cams sound mean as hell!

You realize you have detonation on that last run between 3700 RPM and 5,500 RPM? That is why the line is all jagged like that on the torque curve, your ECU is trying to compensate for the knock by pulling timing.
The previous dyno sheet is MUCH better looking even though the peak numbers are a little lower.
Keith
PS: On the same type of dyno with similar mods but tuned to between 11:1 and 11.5:1 and running 20 psi I made 332 HP.... looks like I need to lean it out just a bit more

Actually that wasn't detonation at all, the run was a little jumpy for lack of a better description. We were fooling around with the sampling frequency of the dyno. Chris, feel free to chime in here and explain what the technical term for that is.

oh, man.
i wish you can see ppl has EMS with 272s cam,
i got perfect idle just like stock after Martin tuned my evo in AMS.
however, great number, i can't go beyond 350whp without bigger FMIC and better intercooler piping.

i dont mind a slightly lumpy idle, but when the cra gts close to stalling the check engine and battery lights come on and the steering wheel TIGHTENS UP ALOT, and it scares me but Im not doing cams until I get the UTEC and do everything together

Here is my car vs. Smack's. I was at RedShift last night.
I am the solid lines.
My mods:
RMR intake filter/induction pipe
Ultimate Racing Turbo-back exhaust (catless)
Unorthodox Racing crank Pulley
Greddy Emanage (Fuel/ignition control)
NO BOOST CONTROLLER!
94 octane, 4th gear pull, 11.5 A/F at redline
