are you running an oil cooler? any mods to oil filter bracket?

 

45-50 psi is a lot of pressure at idle...

 

No mods to the oil filter housing, and yes i have the stock oil cooler.

I only had the car running for about 15 minutes. may have only been 10 you know when you get all nervous and you think an hour passed by but its only been a few minutes. that was me last night. So there was no reving or no driving. i was just making sure i had no leaks before i took it for a ride today. the car was just at temp and the psi was still dropping. I will be driving it around the neighborhood today to and recording car temp, psi, and rpms. I will post results later tonight.

 

oh, should be ok then. Oil was probably barely halfway warmed up.

 

The moment we have all been waiting for and I'm sorry for taking so long. So I let the car get to temp in my garage and then went for a 40 minute drive. At idle (950-1250 rpm) 17-21 psi. Crushing at around 2500 rpm (about 45mph). 60psi. At around 3000 rpm (about 55mph) 70psi. And I didn't go WOT but at 5000 rpm I was at 85psi. In advanced thanks for everyone's times and responses.
