no oil pressure!!!!!!!!!!

no oil pressure!!!!!!!!!!
problems first started after balance shaft belt broke. went ahead and replaced oil pump and balance shaft bearings as a precaution.
During next start up oil pressure when to 30psi and thendropped off. performed several attempts at priming oil pump manually with powerdrill and also with an air pump forcing oil in and out of oil pump with nosuccess. then decided to remove oil pan again with girdle and foundextreemlyslight wear on one of the thrust bearings : the one closet to oil pump.believing that was the issue i went ahead and replaced all the lower end bearings.upon startup it still had no oil pressure after priming. ive checked oilsquirters, reprimed the pump, replaced all gaskets, bypassed oil cooler,swapped out the oil sending unit for a known good one, still no luck.
for some reason pressure returned only once while priming the pump
to over 60psi but went back to zero after timing belt was reinstalled.
