No turn signals - random..

Good morning all, I am having some random issues with my EvoVIII.

I was driving on the highway the other day when I went to change lanes and noticed I had NO turn signals. Nothing. No light, no blink. Okay fine. Then I turned on my headlights and they didnt turn on. I tried again they turned on then after a little while they shut off... Couldnt get them back on.

Any ideas? I dont want to jump right into a possible wiring issue just because nothing changed. The car sits in the garage. I dont have my stock fuse box cover in the engine bay so I cant reference that to check the fuses. Does anyone have a pic of that? Or any other advice?

Thanks!

Carla

Were you logging or do you have anything plugged into your OBD2 port?

You have two options to try....both of them involve resetting the ETACS ECU.

1) Pop the ETACS ECU (located at the rear of your main joint box in the footweel) out of the holder for a few seconds. There's a clip on the top of it...it's just a matter of pushing the clip down and then pivoting the ECU backwards. Wait a few seconds and then push it back into place.
2) Disconnect your battery to do a full reset.

Give that a go.
