Reuse Headgasket When Doing Headbolts
As topic says....i am doing hks cams and arp headbolts ....and was just making sure that people are reusing the stock headgasket ....just pulling all the stock headbolts and then never taking off the head just installing the new bolts and tightening them to factory specs? Anything i should know or tell the shop when installing....?
That's what I'm doing.
Someone already posted about doing this. Just do one bolt at a time.
Use the torque pattern as a guide for the replacing order.
Take one out, put the stud in, tighten, put on the washer and nut, torque to spec.
Make sure the engine is cold.
I can't think of a reason why it won't work out.

Yes,what superz said^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
never, never reuse a head gasket once all torque/load is removed
from head.By doing it one at a time this does not happen,BTW,
no need to remove cams to install head studs, although I see you are replacing cams anyhow
