Evo 8 block question

Hey guys new to this site right now my stock evo8 motor is out of my car, my question is I'm wanting my goal on power 450 with e85 wondering would it be safe on the stock piston and rods or should I go in and put arp hardware on everything . Bolt ons are fp 71hta fic1250 gsc2 cams/ 3 tbe / burschur racing frontmount and piping fp exhaust manifold

Its not so much the hp thats killing rods as it is the tq. Judging by your 450hp goal though, whoever tunes it can keep the tq under that 400 ft lb mark that seems to start playing with fire lol.

Should be fine on a healthy stock bottom end.

You can always use a 3-port EBCS to taper up the boost after peak torque to prevent a big torque/boost spike, this will keep the torque at a safe level while gaining all you can get on top end. The stock solenoid can do this but a 3-port responds significantly faster.

I mean the motors only got 35,000 original miles on it only reason I pulled it out is to do balance shaft delete kit . I didn't know what killed these motors

Ive seen 500hp stock block evos with no problems other then headstuds and headgasket issues, i think thats the weak parts in stock block under 500hp motors.
