Hydraulic release bearing for Competition Twin?

Hello everyone. I am in the process of building a 2.4 stroker for my 2003 5-speed Evo 8, and have a question about the clutch. I got an excellent deal on a competition clutch twin disc, but was wondering if anyone knew if you could use a hydraulic release bearing, either from quartermaster or tilton. I realize I can use the included pull-push conversion, but like the idea of the HRB. I don't really care to buy one for what they cost and just try it out. And I will call QM if it comes to that, but not sure how helpful they will be considering I didn't buy a clutch from them. If anyone has experience in this it is greatly appreciated. The QM one comes with so many shims, one would assume you could make it work, but I'm not ready to just waste 300 dollars trying it out. Thanks everyone.

The Quartermaster Hyd. Release bearing works fine with the comp twin on my car. Go for it. You will need to buy bolts to mount it in trans. Doesn't come with those for some stupid reason

SiriusEvo, I thank you for the confirmation sir. Made my life much less stressful, the last thing I need to worry about with this full build is parts that won't fit when tranny time comes. Did you have to shim it? Are you using a clutch pedal stop? Thanks for the reply again man, appreciate it.

Clutch stop is highly recommended and you do not need any shims, well at least I did not.

Did this end up working out for you too? Just wondering because I was wanting to do the same thing.
