New to the evo scene. I tried troubleshooting a problem.
the low oil light flickers on and off at idle, and the at idle the rpm goes up and down, sometimes making the car stall. I've research and found out the most common, cheapest, problem is the oil pressure switch.

My oil pressure switch doesnt look like the one i need to replace with. Any ideas. The thread diameter is way to thick when I start to pull it out compared to the one pictured. i was told it was a aftermarket oil pressure switch, but i'm not entirely sure what?

The stock location for the pressure switch is under the intake manifold on my evo 8 mr. Does it have any after market gauges?
