Valvetrain noise after wheel bearing install
Valvetrain noise after wheel bearing install
My front passenger wheel bearing (timing belt side) started going bad so I ordered a new assembly and got to work on it. I jacked the car up on its side and made it partially through until it got late. I let the car sit overnight raised on its side.
The next morning I finished the install and everything went smooth. I lowered the jack and proceeded to start the car to take it for a test ride. It immediately sounded as if every lifter went dry. What could this noise possibly be since I never even opened the hood to do the wheel hub swap? Could a broken tensioner also make this happen?
