on my 03 evo i had an act clutch put in at 50k when its was replacing my tranny and i had it for 500 miles before i got so excited about how well it gripped that and broke something again. Mits went ahead and covered another tranny put i couldn't get another ACT clutch fast enough so they just put an oem back in or i would of had to pay for the rental car.... so all that being said your right what is a couple bucks... all this fancy stuff making my head spin I'm not building a race car just want a good daily clutch that will last and i know i made an OEM clutch last 50k and i just replaced it because the tranny was off..

Stock style clutches slip from the factory and do not last. Go at least HDSS, then XTSS. Otherwise you'll be looking for a clutch again real soon.

I've had a Exedy fall apart on me at the track. I don't want to go through that again so would never but one. Just my experience, though.

I will second this motion, I pushed damn near 50K out of my XTSS before I tossed it during a routine upgrade for the Comp Stage 2.
