egr delete now boost gauge don't work

06 evo 9 mr I did the egr delete as I saw in the how too and now my factory boost gauge does not work. Where does the line come from or is it electronic? Also hearing a whistle noise while under boost so I'm guessing it's from a boost leak. I capped off two lines on the throttle body and one bigger one on the intake also removed the two solenoids on the end of the intake manifold and all the lines attached to it. There is one line that came off the charcoal canister that I let vent and one that came up from the passenger fender well that teed into the fpr line that I cut is that the line.

my stock boost gauge line tied in right at the FPR solenoid, sounds like that's the one you cut. check that first.

Just checked and yes it was the one I cut that came up from the Rf fender. Thanks
