Just installed a walbro 255 fuel pump after my first one went bad. After install it started right up and I let it idle for awhile, then I went to drive and 5 min later when ever i put it in neutral or pushed the clutch in it would stall unless I kept tapping the gas. No clue why any ideas?

 

So you did a one for one swap, 255 for 255?

 

Loose fitting/hose clamp or shredded grommet?

 

I know the hose isnt loose, When I was driving around I came to a stop and my car wouldn't drive. At first I thought my clutch was done then I looked at my back seat and I had fuel spraying everywhere! lol So i made sure those are on tight. I can check the grommet I guess.

 

Yes 255 for 255. Old one burnt out and the car wouldn't even start
