Going to have my first service done on my new motor soon and I want to add a magnetic drain plug. I figured I would ask since it isn't listed and I couldn't find anything about it.
Anyone know what the size and thread the drain plug is on the AMS oil pan?
Is it M14 x 1.5 like OEM?

It's not.. it's smaller, it's made by moroso so uses like an american standard size..

believe it's 1/2"X20X1/2" Cause I have a case for one here

If it's smaller maybe you mean 1/4"x20x 1/2" cause 10mm is smaller than 1/2".
I will call AMS tomorrow and get the exact size. I figured someone might have one not installed and take a look.

 

LOL, just saw the stock is M14 x 1.5.

Called Moroso and they said 1/2"x20
