turbo problem,need help!

turbo problem,need help!

i installed my new pt6266 turbo in my evo, but when i crank the engine to prime the turbo there is no oil returning from the return line, why is that?

i have a -4 oil feed line and a -10 return line.

talked to presision turbo, they are reccomending to run the oil feed line through the oil filter housing...

i want to know, do you have to modify the oil filter housing or need any specific parts for it, or do you just plug it in there?

FP makes a kit for it, not sure if you can make one yourself or not. It definitely looks like you need some fittings.

Have a look at the filter housing--you will see a recessed allen head plug and a domed cap. Both of these give you access to the filter housing.

42DD sells the oil filter fitting that will screw into the stock oil filter housing and then you can use a 1/8 npt fitting from there.
