Input/advice on my built evo 9 power numbers.

Build specs
Evo 9 4g63
GSC S2 cams
BC springs and titanium retainers
weisco 9:1 .020 pistons,
BC rods and crank
ported exhaust manifold
Arashi TD0620G turbo
MAP divorced o2 dump with turbo XS 3" DP, full 3" exhaust
24psi

Dyno'd at right at 400whp and 356tq. Does that not seem pretty low? Pump 93 gas. The builder said that topspeed said the turbo was right at its limits at that psi.just seems low?

Dyno'

I'd turn the boost up but apparently.the turbo is at its limits. The reason I ask is because I see numbers a good bit higher than mine on stock 9 turbo's. Just curious is all.

Dyno type and elevation/ air temps? Hard to tell if those are good numbers with out that info but even with that info it really doesn't matter without weight of car and trap speeds n the 1/4. Dyno numbers are pointless unless you were dynoe prior to the build or you know the trap speeds of similar cars to yours tuned on that dyno. For example on the dyno I use for my car a 600whp/400tq Evo traps 135-138mph in the 1/4. Iv have seen guys at the track with 900hp dyno graphs trapping 138mph which tells me that the dyno they use reads high compared tot he one I use. At the end of the day the dyno is really only used as a tuning device.

From what I know topspeed uses a mustang dyno which I know it would have dynod a lot higher on a dynapac. Topspeed is in Atlanta and it was done during spring/summer so very humid out

And yea I understand that a dyno is merely a tuning took used to see changes before and after on motors, my real question here is, do you guys think my turbo is near its limits at 24psi? Just seems like it should be able to flow more than 24 psi with my mods. And if my car made 400/356 on a mustang, any idea what that may equate to on a dynapac?

looks good on a 20g on a mustang dyno. probably be around 420-450 in dynapack i think. post a dyno plot, boost/af also.

I'll see if I can get the graph. I'm going to get a full race stock placement manifold and tuned on e85. Wanting to hit 500whp

For the small price I think it's worth it. Just hate that it's maxed out at only 24psi even with extensive mods/motor work. An fp black is in my future though.
