Yea the 450 HP really excels with higher voltage.

I am planning on switching to E85 and I have HTA Green on stock engine. From my understanding I will probably be making less than 500whp.

The car has a 255lph pump right now and I will be replacing it with a 450lph E85 pump. Will it be ok to run the pump without hard wiring it in my case? I am thinking about getting FIC 1650cc hiz injectors.

I would not run the walbro 450 on stock wiring. Follow mrfred's rewire guide to maintain the hi/lo voltage function.

Do you have a link? I wish I was a good pump between the 255 and 450 to not have to rewire it.

Please be aware there are reports coming out from some respective evo shops that recent batches of 450s have been failing. There's likely a bad batch out there. I myself have been running one for 2+ years without issues but if you just grabbed one or are thinking of grabbing one it might be safer to go with a bosch044 or something from Fuel Lab's prodigy lineup.

How are you increasing voltage? Research I have found on the boost-a-pump say that the voltage is too high and they don't recommend using the boost-a-pump with the walbro 450.

I use an easy performance fuel controller

No problems with it? Looks like a good way to go.

I've had good results with a boost a pump or JMS voltage booster on many cars . My current evo has made 650whp on a red. A boost a pump @14Volts Walbro 450 on id1700s at 90% duty . Stock lines, regulator and radium rail on 85% ethanol content on a Dynojet.

I think a few have made 700whp with correct voltage to a 450 pump on ethanol.
The 450 pump is stout for less then 700whp would be my choice with a voltage or pump controller. A single pump is easy to diagnose compared to dual pumps if fuel flow starts to decrease over time.

It worked well for me before my motor went. :-X

Keep in mind, I am using it to power and control a wally 450 in a surge tank. I don't see why it wouldn't work just as well wired to a pump in the OEM tank.

I run a 450 with FP Black SS FiTronic E85 2000cc IJD upgraded lines and FPR and I am just hitting barely 600whp. Tuner told me something was up with my fuel system even though I did the proper upgrades for the 450. I feel like I can def go more but I guess im happy with 600whp for now

2 - 450 Pumps?

Does anyone have any experience with the maximum power possible running 2 - F90000267 Walbro 450LPH E85 Fuel Pumps?

I followed MrFred's guide to add a hobbs switch for a high current line to my 450, but I seem to be running out of pump around 30psi at 550ish whp dynojet numbers on an FP Red with FIC 1650s. Would the next step be to just do a -6an line from the hardline to rail and drill out the siphon?

Drilling out the siphons helps control regulator over run. It won't make more power. An aftermarket fuel rail and 6an feed line will help.
