Injen intake for EVO VIII

I'm not sure if this has already been posted. Just for a goof, I emailed Injen a few days ago asking if they were planning on releasing an intake for the our cars. This is the response I got:

"Yes, we expect a release early next month."

No further information was given. I just thought you guys might like to know. It would be nice to see an intake released for the EVO that made some power and didn't throw off the MAF readings.

Thanks for the info, I've heard good things about those intakes for the wrx's so I'm excited to see how they turn out.

A little off topic but I used to own a 99 WS6 as well and was wondering if you missed the power? I loved mine but in my opinion it wasn't as much fun to drive. John

I can't count the number of times i've heard that . Apparently their intake has been coming out "early next month" since September

Yeah, I had their intake on my GS-T and it looked and sounded great. I emailed them in 8/2003 and was told it would be out in the next couple months "it will be worth the wait". In November they said next month. well I could not wait any more. I got the Apexi power flow and the HKS suction pipe. However I still want to see what they have been working on for eight months if they have put that much R&D into it.

I'm sure the Apeix filter and HKS RS pipe was more beneficial to you than waiting for an Injen intake.
