Driven Fab EFR Turbo Kits

Now that we've finished our Evo X kits, our attention has now turned to the CT9A platform! Been working on this for a few weeks now, and pretty excited about how it's turning out. Might as well bring you guys / gals along for the ride!

The final revision of the manifold, this placement allows the use of AC and power steering. It will require the use of an Evo 6 radiator, and on the C comp cover housings (83/74 and 91/80) You'll need to notch the trans mount. Not a whole lot, basically just cut two "tabs" off.

This is how it started out, I didn't like this design too much as runner #1 looked really weird, much happier with the second revision.

Im going in tomorrow to work some more on it, I'll take more pictures as I get farther along. This manifold placement allows for both IWG and EWG applications. This runner size is 1.25" on a 76/70. The turbo pictured is an 83/74. We'll be making a 1.5" runner manifold as well.

Looks great as always! Nothing but top notch quality from you guys. Definitely interested in seeing a 1.5" runner, twin scroll, divided t4 flanged manifold!

didnt get much done today. Got to the shop and spent 3 hours cleaning up / picking up after people. Got the Evo 6 radiator in, compressor outlet figured out, and noted some changes that needed to be made for the next kit. The C frame EFRs sit too close to the aftermarket radiator so I'm going to modify the jig to that its tucked closer to the block. It doesn't need much, maybe 1/4 of an inch in.

Got started on the LICP but then had to leave so I couldn't finish it. I'll make a lot more progress on Monday.

If you used the 1" CBRD radiator you shouldn't have to move the C-Frame turbos closer to the block. Also, you'll have to notch the transmission more when you pull turbo closer to the block. Am I right?

The 1" cbrd radiator doesn't help much in getting the C size covers away from the trans. It helps a little in getting a better angle on your lower pipe.

I want the kit to functional with multiple types of setups, it would be silly to make a kit that only works with one radiator, that's not what I'm aiming for here. You don't have to notch the transmission, just some tabs on the mount. If you move it closer to the engine / trans you'll be able to just clock the compressor housing differently and it will still fit.

We don't have an issue with the LICP angle so far, it would give you more room with a thinner radiator but I don't see that being an issue.

Target pricing is 5000 for the 76/70 IWG kit, that includes the manifold, down pipe, intake, intercooler piping, all hoses / lines for the turbo as well as thermal shielding for the oil drain / coolant lines.

We're offering a discount for the first couple customers to provide some results / reviews on the kit.

I'm just trying to help. You already said that you'd need the use of an Evo 6 radiator, so you're narrowing it down there anyway. Can you even get Evo 6 radiators easily? I've never looked.

Koyo, Mishimoto, CBRD, CSF, and I think STM all offer Evo 6 style radiators...

That's more along the lines of what we were referring to, not the actual OEM Evo 6 Radiator.

This has nothing to do with the EFR kit but I made this down pipe for a FF turbo car today. It came out pretty good.

If anyone has any custom fabrication needs shoot us a message!
