AEM intake completely sucks. never buy it
That sucks Josh. My cusco induction arm and RMR Filter also had some major fitting issues and I still have that freaking LEAK!! Oh well I just know what to get and what not to get for the future. Have you tried mounting the BOV backwards or sideways?

lol...how do you mount a forge bov backwards or sideways with the aem setup? no flex, and the little line goes on top, not the side...we'll see what happens today.

My AEM fits perfectly.
But it took some tweaking. I sanded the edges of the sheet metal heat shield so that it wouldn't shred any wires or fingers. I re routed the hoses that go to the stock bov so none of them would be crimped in the position the AEM requires it to be mounted. I had to sand the MAF housing to get the tube coupler to fit the way I wanted it to.

I took some of that edge protector and lined the bottom rdge of the heat shield with it.
This protected the MAF wires.
The coupler to the MAF popped right on. They may have changed that since you did yours SC.
The coupling doesn't have AEM on it like in your review. It was very pliable.
I still had to chamfer the tube for the valve cover hose.
That was the worst fit.
But all in all, it took about 30-40 minutes.
