Will a EVO X turbo fit an VIII

I just rebuilt the motor on my EVO VIII and the turbo is bad, I was wondering if the EVO X turbo bolts right up?

I know people go with the EVO IX turbo often, is the IX better than the X?

What additional parts will I need to make it work?

Thanks

What do I need to make the EVO 9 turbo work on my 8? Or does it just bolt right up?

water hardlines to the turbo, black hard tube after compressor inlet, and return i believe. lancershop and stm and those guy sell a kit. not worth going ix turbo tbh, just get an fp turbo. they are having sales due to the shootout this year

X turbo won't work. IX turbo spins anticlockwise, X turbo spins clockwise. Everything is configured around this

No, the compressor housing is completely different. It probably wouldn't even fit between the rad and block...

Here is the funny part. Took off my OG Green turbo with an Evo 9 comp cover. Well, it had an Evo 8 turbo outlet pipe on it. So, I guess it could work, but I had a two piece LICP. Evo 9 turbo pipe is longer. So with the new one piece pipes, I bet you need one.
