Hi I drive an almost stock Evo 9 and only have bigger radiator and intercooler

I noticed my oil temp from normal city driving hovers around 94C, and one day while waiting for my baby boy to wake up at the back seat, I parked the car and had the air con on, the oil temp gradually rose to 107C in around 30mins, outside air temp was about
30C

Is the oil temp within the acceptable range or there's something wrong with the oil cooling system?

 

It's fine. Its going to go up when the car sits at idle. Just like coolant temp..

 

100 deg C ish should be ok ... whens the last time you changed your oil? checked your level recently? At least your gauge reads ... haha ... I need to tap the face of mine to wake it up to read 4/5 times !!!

 

You shouldn't even start worrying til about 125C at a minimum. Once the pil gets above that temperature things start to head south. That being said, You should only hit that at a race track. If your oil temps are 125 just driving around you may have issues.

 

reading your post I was way more concerned with hearing about the car sitting and idling for 30 minutes parked than seeing that the oil temp was 107c.
