Question Oil pressure drop at high RPM

Hello EVOMers
I had a 2.3 L thatspun a bearing lately and before doing that it had a loss of oil pressure after 6k rpm from 105psi to 95psi gradually i tried diffrent oils but it never helped so now i rebuilt the engine...new crank/rods/pistons/oil pump and now the pressure hits 117 psi and drops back gradually to 113..this pressure is too high and i don't know the reason it is still dropping after the rebuild..please help
P.s am using 5w50 oil

Oil pressure drop at high RPM

The pressure relief opens. You had plenty of oil pressure before the rebuild. Try going to a thinner oil to reduce the pressure in the current build.

What specs was the motor built to? If it was built within OEM tolerance, use OEM rec'd oil. If you deleted balance shafts, that will also increase pressure. I would try 10w30 and go from there.

It was built to standard specs..everything new and yes balance shaft deleted..switching to a lower grade oil will help with the high pressure but what about the pressure drop at the end of rpm?

The pressure drop is the relief valve opening, reducing flow and pressure.

If you're revving the engine to 8k, good oil pressure at 8k is 90psi.
