What should i expect to pay for a clutch install???

I know soon a clutch install will be coming... Anyone here have any idea what the ball park that a mechanic will charge me to install a new clutch??? Just the install not the price of the clutch. Right now i have about decided to get the RRE No Name Clutch... Seems like a nice setup for the money and will help me keep my driveline warranty..... Anyone had any experience with this clutch??? so im looking at 520$+Install cost... if anyone can quote me here what an average mechanic rate is i would appriciate it thanks!.....

I've heard up to 1k$ for a clutch install. Most will state it takes up to 12 hours for the install. Ouch.

500, if it takes your mechanic twelve hours to replace an evo clutch, he needs to be slapped.

though instead of these cost im halfway considering doing it myself... I have never done a clutch on a FWD or AWD car so its a bit different. But i have done numerous clutches on RWD cars with no problems.... Being i do have a pretty decent shop to work out of because of recently joining a car club that will help alot!

I emailed WORKs and they said 10 hours @ $95/hr. Yikes! $950 for a clutch install!!

These guys are probably the most expensive out there.

Doesn't seem to be a good reasonably priced choice out here in the Bay Area except to do it yourself.

I knew WORKS was overpriced, but damn. I guess they have to somehow pay their sky high San Fran rent.

Yup! Best price I have seen is do it yourself, followed very closely by Buschur Racing.

And if you make a road trip to Buschur Racing you can justify putting on more power producing products while you are there...
