Evo newbie

Hi all as a new owner to a evo 4 I would like to ask you as a group about a problem with the clutch on my evo, from when I bought the car, the previous owner had swapped the clutch but must've done something wrong as the clutch fork is sat at its furthest position away from the slave cylinder, is there an easy fix to get this clutch to work or is it a transmission off job? I've tried reading up on this but struggling to figure out how to do it, many thanks

If this is a pull type clutch then the throwout bearing has detached from the pressure plate. This was a common problem before the Monoloc came along.

You can unbolt the slave and give the arm a pull seeing if it will snap back into place. Beyond that it is a transmission off job.
