Jun cam idle fix

For those running stock ecu's and jun cams here is a little idle fix. Jun cams have quite a bit of overlap (intake and exhaust valve open at the same time) and we can reduce that by retarding the intake cam (opening the intake valve later) and advancing the exhaust (closing the exhaust valve earlier). 2 degrees each(at the cam) is sufficient to smooth out the idle and make it much more driveable. Will it affect horsepower?, not sure on the Jun's but let me tell you that more overlap doesn't mean more horsepower on a turbo car. My guess is that the JUN's already have so much valve overlap that taking 4 degrees out won't hurt horsepower. Hope this helps, any questions?

sounds like the wrong cam for your motor..... or a poor cam design

I'm not running the cam, just something I ran into on another (customers) car.

There is also a reflash option from another vendor that I have used and it works flawlessly. Rock solid idle with JUN 272 cams.
