Not sure why people keep buying FP Blacks, but for something in the 60-70 lb/min range, a good "stage 2" cam like GSC S2, Kelford 272 or Tomei 270s should do the trick. High-lift, modern cams are the way to go...HKS and BC 272s just don't cut it anymore.

Red is ok, Black is laggy and most of the reports I've heard say it doesn't live up to its airflow rating. It's probably one of the last turbos I'd use.

True I'll most likely stick with my first choice the fp red now here is another quick question journal bearing or ball bearing I know with ball bearing ppl say it'll spool alot faster but journal bearing to me I think will spool not as quick but maybe like a 400 rpm difference but the price is sure different

BB vs JB is only about 100rpm difference in spool. Transient response is better with BB, and BB is less susceptible to damage from oil starvation.

Go Green if you want a fast 1st-3rd gear car, if you want a fast 3-5th gear car then go with a Red/Black. This applies to the single scroll housing version.

I have an MHI BB Black and love it. It lags a little, but that's the price you pay for the most part for a higher airflow than stock turbo. If you want quicker spool do the red. You can make good power and still have quick spool down low.

As others said, the transient response is nice with the BB turbos if you can justify the price. Sounds cooler as well lol.

As for cams I would go S2 or S3. If you're worried about lag go S2 since the S3 will shift the power curve/spool to the right a little.

From what I have seen the SS housings lag a little more than the MHI obviously since they're single scroll now but I don't think its much at all. You'll be happy with the JB. Just never get a BB turbo because you'll never want to go back lol. Enjoy
