TME turbo with 20g wheel (surge?)

It is a superior material for turbine construction if it is done right and used within its design limits. The question is: is the 20g beyond the design limits of the MHI TiAl turbine that was made for a 16g compressor. I think it is ok if you keep the turbo RPMs within reason.

I have moderate success with my 20g turbo it was installed in Sept. - Nov. 2012. I'm still on the 20g turbo, granted didn't thrash it until the following yr. mid spring when I started autocross. Its def. not a autocross turbo, its very frustrating anyone whose autocross a slightly larger turbo. I would also like to say if I was to do it all over I probably take the hint people on this thread are guiding you...71HTA. Actually doing so later during the yr. It sounds every bit great like any Fp anti surge cover I say that. I'll try to dig up dyno chart.
