DIY COP Setup Parts List

I'm looking at making a cop kit for my evo 9. I was thinking of getting K series ignition coils but after doing some searching on here it seems there are a lot of cheaper options.

What is the best, most cost effective route to go with this. What all do I need to make a working kit. Do I need to run a different spark plug after the fact. Thanks in advance!

The most expensive part should be the coils, so shop around. I ended up with some used K series coils. I ordered the coil connectors from Spoolinup but ended up also finding them on ebay(with a pigtail on them, so that was nice). You also need to order 2 Mitsubishi connectors to hook up to the harness(also from Spoolinup). I made a mounting plate but need to make a sturdier one. The whole project cost me under $100.

You got it. You should be able to open up the gap on your plugs after this mod if you want to. I am very pleased with the outcome, the car seems to run better!

I am running the same plug, same gap, no issues whatsoever. Plugged right into the existing harness, nothing had to be messed with.
