Lightbulb Something wrong with my Evo...

You can see my modds list below, and you can see my best time, im just cofused on why mine isnt running better times at the track??? with that much HP torque and from what Al has said i should be in the lower 12.3 12.4 range.....its not my driving, we wnet to the track last night and i had two runs, both at 108.7 107.9 mph with 1.78 and 1.81 60ft. so theres not a problem with the launch, but my mph should be in the 112 113 range...and i ran 12.90 and 12.94......my car has hit 12.67 and 12.76, those are my 2 best but i should be hitting that like its my job and then squeek into the low 12's on a good pass, and my buddy actually ran the 12.67 in my car and when he did he had a 1.91 60ft??? also he has an STI stock with just a mid-pipe, remeber, i dynoed a bunch of times at 330 360 and we did a 4th gear pull on the highway and i only beat him by a 1/2 car lenth into 5th, i was pulling harder when we left off but he dynoed 255 and 270!!! wheres all my power?? i havent gotten my DYNOFLASH since the intercooler and MBC so is that throwing Al's reflash off and making my car slower?? should i have him retune to the stock air box rather than the open element filter??? just very frustrating and strange as well why it makes so much power but realy doesnt prove it, we dyno on an AWD dynojet and have been going to the same place since i bought it to see the difference in HP with modds so its right on..oh well hopefully you guys will have some answers for me!!!! thanks!!

I ran a 12.94@107 with just the mods in my sig @20psi. Your et is about right for your mph. As to where your mph went, don't know. Is a FMIC and a Dynoflash (instead of an emanage) worth 5mph? You most likely need to re-tune since you've added mods since you were flashed.

[i] ... should i have him retune to the stock air box rather than the open element filter??? .... [/B]
Are you running the stock air box right now... with the flash for an open element filter ? You should be using the filter that you have the flash for, until you can get re-flashed for the filter you want to use. This does make a big difference.

are all your fittings, such as around the intercooler or airbox, extremely tight so that you are not getting any leaks?

My friend had a leak that was preventing him from realizing the full performance of the car.

I would think a 12.67 1/4 would be a good number for you not having cams. Think about this Al's running a mid 11 second with cams and turbo upgrade. Your only about a second off from his run.
