You'll definitely need an upgraded fuel system. Your single 255 won't cut it. Do you have a built engine? A 6262 or 6266 will need a lot of boost to make that kind of power 30+ psi and E85 will help even more to achieve your number. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Yes motor build I pushing 478 0n base/safe tune with my gt35 ...also already pushing 30psi ..I just want to upgrade turbo n see how much more hp get I can get n yes e 85 is what I going for...still looking for a fuel pump that is best for this setup...the hard decision is going for a 6262 or 6266

I think you should be making more than 478hp at 30psi on a 3582. Hell, when pushed on E85, the 3582 should be able get into the 650-700 range.

I would skip the PTE and go with a Xona rotor 78-65 if you're hell bent on changing turbos.

The turbo is not at fault for not "bending your neck". It's your tune. Put it on E85 with a double pumper walbro 255 fuel pump setup, 2000cc injectors and let it eat.

You could just swap out your GT3582R with a GTX3582R. It'll do 700whp on E85.

I know you are bent a new turbo but I would definitely focus on the fuel setup. What are you using for engine management? Standard Ecu or stand alone? I reckon with a better fuel setup your gt3582 could net you even better/bigger gains. Looking forward to hearing about your future plans.

i running on a standard ecu..yea i already looking to pick up a dual pumper n 2150 injector (my current is 1200,s2,ams vband kit, single 255, n much more) and my goal is to achieve that 700 mark..but i been seeing more pte turbo like 6262 n 6266 reaching that goal easier n safer...would i be over pushing the gt35 to much? i guessing i rather use that money for a new turbo for fuel pump n injector n a new tune...one thing i know my turbo is just the jb n by that i know it be more difficult to reach my goal that y i was lookin into a new better turbo first...

gt3582 probably won't hit 700. I thought you had a GTX for some reason.

A Gen 2 6062 will come close to make your goal with quicker spool:

Or a Gen 2 6266 will exceed your goal with slower spool:
http://www.precisionturbo.net/Street...T6266-CEA®/567

But I still lean towards Xona. I rode in a car with the old version of this turbo (FP HTA3586) on an English racing 2.2slr, and it was amazing. Full boost at around 4,700 (400-500rpm earlier than a 2.0L) and it pulled to 9,500, made 790whp.

thanks for the infor...calling pte they did to advise me to 6062 over the 6266..for faster spool however with my research i cant find any graph showing the spool differ of those two turbo ....but i will definitely dig deeper into the Xona turbo tho...

Smaller turbine and smaller compressor with their new Gen 2 aero. Smaller wheels equals faster spools. New aero means more flow.

Thanks for your info on the new Xona rotor setups. Been looking into turbos and just seem to be seeing mostly stock frame, PTE, and EFR results.

How do you think EFR compares to new Xona?
