Talking Turbo upgrade for evo 9

hi guys, I would love to upgrade the stock turbo from my evo 9 MR. What do you guys recommend is a good upgrade if I want to be in the 450 hp and torque area or a little more? I,m looking for a turbo kit from ETS.

Your transmission is going to hate you and will probably get destroyed

You can get close to 450whp with 91 octane on a gtx3076r, or the Xona rotor equivalent (61-56 or 65-64). Not going to make 450wtq though without E85 unless you go with a bigger (and laggier) turbo, and build the motor to hold up. And the 6-speed won't like it over 400wtq..

Owen Developments is not as well known on these forums, but they have been setting the standard across the pond for years. Plus no VAT tax for international orders!

thank you guys!!! That's the weakest link of the MR evo. I was reading that this transmission it is not strong as the GSR one. Well, I would love to get close to the 400 hp and torque. Maybe I can get close with some cams and upgrading my injectors and fuel pump and get it tuned.

Yea, FP-Owens-Xona all work together from time to time. No reason to reinvent something when there is a perfect off the shelf option available.

FP 71hta, S2's, bolt-ons, and 100 would be a fun setup

It would be, but that low end torque would come on hard. Probably would want to consider a 5 speed conversion at that point.
