Airtrek/evo Gta torque convertor

Hi guys
I have an Airtrek turbo, I have put in some GSC S1 cams, Subaru STI pink injectors walbrow 255 fuel pump, evo 7 turbo, custom 3" exhuast, invidia dump pump and down pipe, evo 7 front mount intercooler and 3 port boost control, With the evo 7 turbo the car is incredibly slow off the mark, I notice when I floor it off the mark, that the torque convertor will flash to about 2300rpm, if I stall it up against the convertor I can leave at about 3100rpm which is much better but have to wait for it to build boost before I take my foot off the brake, any one else have this problem and what have you done to get off the mark quicker??
Is it possible that the convertor is already locked up??

Has anyone tried to keep the td04 turbo but upgrade to the 19t, will this be a better option than the evo 7 turbo??

You can call a race torque converter builder like TCI, and they could probably modify your converter to give a higher stall.

Thanks letsgetthisdone,
I'm not sure if a higher stall will work??
We have a few companies over here that make convertors, I will give one of them a call.
I'm just wondering what other Airtrek or GTA owners think of this problem, or if they even have the same problem??

You installed cams and (I'm guessing) a bigger turbo. Both of those things move the power to the right on the dyno chart (higher in the RPM's). You need a higher stall torque converter.
