Details on Sigma engine architecture
Does anyone know if the Sigma architecture was passed on on any other engines aside from the 4G63 and 64? I'm wondering because that's the engine that's going in the new RAs. It's a MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Electronic Control--I swear they have a department just to think of snappy names for this shyte) engine, and I'm wondering how boostable those things are (work matters) or if they share anything at all as far as heritage goes with our good ol' 63s
I'm posting this in EVO because--no offence to our boost challenged brothers-- you guys seem to have more to say on technical matters, and some of you 4G63 guys have owned them for far longer than EVOs have been around

Answered my own question today. Got in contact with one of the head engineers in Japan (MAN I love working for Satan!). Anyways, the 4G69 IS based on the Sigma architecture, which means that it SHOULD be pretty boost friendly. Just wait until they get this thing really tuned though...I can't wait to see Mitsu's answer to the SR20DEV and the K20....good times abound, I tells ya.
