Guys who have pulled their TC please help

Ok, the cars up in the jacks i am following the how to thread, I've go the exhaust off, lowered the suspension cradle, tail shaft is out, the c/v shaft is lose and out of the wheel hub but the only thing is I cant get the damn thing out of the TC, it has a little free play back and forward and I have tried putting a pry bar on the green hub thing on it where it goes into the TC and leavered it against the motor, aint moving, I've hit a bar up against the green thing with a rubber hammer, aint moving....I cant get a slide hammer on it as its got some sort of join in the rubber boot and I dont want to damage it. Has anyone got any tricks to get this shaft out? This is the only thing stopping me now

Its a momentum thing. When you apply an impulse to the axle it needs enough energy to collapse the spring clip into the groove. A quick push without tremendous force does the trick.

get a 6" or longer extension and put it against the green part and hit it with a metal hammer. It will start to move and come out. I've probably done about 30~40 clutch jobs on a evo and it works EVERY SINGLE time. A small amount of t case fluid may come out when the axal comes out so have a shop towel or paper towel ready and keep your face away from that area. Good luck
