New build and oil oil on pistons

I just completed a new buschur 2.3 build and am burning alot of oil and have visual oil on top of pistons. The head was also completely new from very reputable shop. I checked compression and was 180 roughly on all 4.( I'm also at 6000 feet of altitude) I also performed a leak down test and was 5% across the board. I don't see anything obviously wrong with the valve seals. If anybody has any ideas it would be appreciated

There was a thread on here from someone that had a buschur motor that did the same thing. If I remember correctly the rings were not installed correctly. This was about 2 years ago.

If I remember correctly, he had good compression and good leak down, but it was an issue with teh bottom/oil rings and it was letting oil get past where the pin was. The 2.3 has a high piston pin offset.

Here is the thread I think you're talking about. It was an issue with the oil rings like you said. Page 8 is where he posted that he figured it out.
