I'm pretty sure i ordered the wrong pistons..

I ordered wiseco K627M86AP pistons for my 4g63. Previous owner had K548M855AP in the motor which is supposedly a 2.1 stroker. I ordered the pistons off of maperformance.com and the site listed them as multiple fitment, and i selected the right bore that i needed, but i didn't think about the other stuff.. thing is that the new ones are somewhat shorter than the other ones.. also my head gasket is 0.066" thick. I'm afraid that i'll have too low of a compression, are my concerns real? the difference in the pistons are quite noticeable...

maperformance.com listed them without any sort of specs other than to select the bore.. i should have looked up the product number.. guess i'll have to buy a 100mm crankshaft also... sigh...

Send the Pistons back and get the ones you need?

I experienced the same thing one time. I bought 18 inch tires instead of 17 inch. I just bought a new car that fit the tires.

Oh wait, no I didn't because that would've been ridiculous. Return the pistons and get what you need.

Ps, the tire thing never happened.
