Does anyone know if these are the same between Evo 8 and 4??

Long story short I had an Evo 4 engine in the car when I bought it. I built my stock block and when I put it in, the front and rear engine mounts do not line up.. I got the side and transmission (drivers side) mounts in with a little effort. I'm at a complete loss for what could be causing this other than this bracket being different.

Here is how far off my rear mount is.. The front is about this much further back that what it is supposed to be too.




PS this last picture you can see the chain to the engine lift attached to the trans. I do not have any tension on the chain there. If I lift it up I can get it almost in line with the Y axis but its still about 3/4 to an inch off from being where it should be on the X axis.

 

They are in fact the same! My transfer case was holding the engine from falling into place correctly even when using the lift to try to pull it up.

 

If you need any evo 4 parts, dont be afraid to pm me, we have hundreds of evo 4's over here and many are crashed. As far as im aware though all 4-9 mounts are the same

 

Appreciate it but I have an 8, the only reason I had Evo 4 stuff in my car was previous owner just needed to get title running and that's what he was able to get real cheap.
