I used to have the 7460r - amazed me as well, until its oil seals blew.

it was about 4-5 years ago, on an older evo so I barely remember - but I think it was about 25psi, and stock oil lines yes. it also happened when I was cruising down the highway - i never push on the street except when tuning - never. so it came as a complete surprise

Thats a bummer. Seems pretty in line with what im doing except i do beat on it in the canyons and freeway onramps. I have about 60k on the turbo and so far its holding strong, I spike to 28psi tapering to 22psi out the top. Not that it makes a difference in this regard, but mine has never seen gasoline, strict E-85 only diet for the last 75k miles.

sounds pretty solid - I'm sure you'll be fine

FWIW I've still never felt a turbo quite like that one. the spool was absolutely insane, fast as hell and felt like N/A on steroids.

I got an FP Green ball bearing after that, and while it was fast, it honestly didn't FEEL as fast as the hks. eventually parted out the car and sold it to start a mild-power build, but damn. that hks will have a place in my heart forever.
