Evo 6 block swap on Evo 8

Evo 6 block swap on Evo 8
I have an Evo 8 with recently blown engine. I need to replace the block and may be the head also. Evo 8 assembly is around 2000 dollars in my country and Evo 6 assembly is around 1200 dollars. My question is, whether their is any difference between the 2? And if yes, is it worth the additional 7-8 hundred dollars?
