Fuel pump / Fuel tank studs snapped off

Fuel pump / Fuel tank studs snapped off
I looked around and all I could find is a DSM fix that involves JB weld. I snapped two off trying to replace my fuel pump. Mine were badly rusted. Just wondering what people have done to fix this? Is it best to get something custom fabricated to beef up the studs or just replace the tank with the OEM part MN106179 .
