CALL BUSCHER they have a fix!!!

I did call, all they said to do was to drill a larger hole, ,which I did. They said that about 10% of the cars do not work, so I guess I am the minority.

ya i had the problem with buschur and htey told me to drill teh bigger hole but that did not work and should not have to happen, if they just stick the correct bung on the exhaust, (not the extended one) then things would be fine, so u need them to ship u a new smaller flush bung and it will clear the code, that is what i had to do after numerous times of calling and making myself get heard

I have BR's turboback. I ran catless for a couple of months without a CEL but once the temperature dropped close to 10 degrees, I got a cat efficiency code(weird!). When its warm, no codes. I'm currently running the high flow cat now and have never gotten a CEL, even in below zero weather.

The fix they are sending you, is it the flush bung? Do you have to get it welded on?

Did you reset the ECU? There is another thread in this forum about a 'mechanical' fix for the CEL (search for spark plug and CEL). I have the Buschur TB, spent $3.69 on spark plug anti-foul adapters, 5 minutes drilling one out, and another 5 minutes installing them. The result is no more CEL after 2 weeks and 400+ miles.
