How long to IKH24 plugs last

I would only regap them a couple of times. Spark likes a nice sharp edge to jump off of. The plug eroding (opening up the gap) loses that sharp edge.

I agree, that is the correct approach. It will at least get some more life out of them so I don't have to throw $40 in plugs at the car every couple months.

dwell is correct. d585s are very sensitive to dwell and I spent a couple weeks getting it right.
